Phantom Planet
Feburary.8.03

Shaudee and I were thrilled when we heard Phantom Planet was playing at the El Rey Theatre in LA.
Unfortunately, Rosemary could not come.  I was worried that nothing would happen that night (no
SM power) but - well you?ll see. When Shaudee and I arrived, there was already a long line around
the building to enter.  Shaudee figured this was our only chance to meet the band.  We went around
the back and found the door.  It could only open from the inside, so we walked across the street to
Rite Aid where we bought marshmallow peeps (for the band, well our excuse if we were caught) and
screwdrivers.  We spent a good half and hour trying to get that door to open.  We caused a lot of
damage.  Disappointed, we both decided to have a fun time watching the show.  At the door we saw
Johnny Knoxville enter.  We were surprised to see him at a PP show.  Once we got inside we found
ourselves a good spot right in front of the stage.  We watch two bands play before PP: Sign of the Fox
and Big City Rock, cool 80s band.  During the opening bands, Shaudee and I spotted some of the
jackass crew (HEHE and elf man) and pp members.  The guard let me say hello and take a photo.  I
also met Selma Blair, supposedly Jason?s gf, backstage. She was a nice gal.  I recognized a pp
member and Shaudee told me his name was Jason.  I asked him if he could let us stay backstage if I
gave him some peeps.  He said no, but he took the peeps. He has a cool lactose shirt. The show
started and it was great; they played all my favorite songs along with some new ones.  The show
ended, we left the building, and it became a gay Asian night club.

Ozzfest 2003

Although we arrived at the end of Disturbed's performance Ozzfest was still a concert to remember.
Everything that happened last year, was happening again. The same metalheads, the same bonfires on the
lawn, the same pissy security guards were there, the only difference was the bands. Marilyn Mansons
performance in my opinion was the best because it was very creative. Korn was once again very good, I didnt
get to take photos since I was in the pit. It was insane in there, the craziest I have ever seen. We left again to
watch Ozzy, to tired to go back into the pit, our seats were right behind it anyways. Ozzy still continued to
rock the stage even though his so old. (no offence) After to show we tried to get backstage the same way me
and Angela did last year, but it was completely different, it was a parking lot. But overall Ozzfest was still
extremely fun, it brought back good memories.

The only pictures that turned out (I only took like 5)
These are of Marilyn Manson live during mOBSCENE and another song (forgot which one)

Shaudee was super excited to meet Homer Simpson (ha ha)

We met all kinds of people and things, including Jesus!

Once again for the third time we met John!

Its Sheep Mafia buddy Sid Haig!

Well its some of the Hobbit crew, with Gollum who looks like Mr. Bean. I dont know why there's
like a billion pictures of Frodo and Merry (or Pippin I could never tell them apart) There were
actually like 20 more but I only put the best ones up.

Now we know why Frodo and the hobbits left... they knew who was coming

11/26/03   By Angela Wolf
The day before Thanksgiving, Rosemary, Lori, Shaudee and I went back to Anaheim HOB where Lit was
playing.  Roar and I bought our tickets in advance, Lori bought hers there, and some random person gave
Shaudee a free ticket… all of which we DID NOT NEED.  We decided to go through our secret passageway.  We
were already late and Lit had already started playing.  We had the best view, backstage baby. During the whole
set, they kept looking at us, like they were irritated.  Shaudee and I left backstage to be with the norms and
almost couldn’t get back in! We did though, thanks to SM luck.  After they played we met the band.  AJ was
really nice; he remembered our website and said it had some freaky stuff on it.  He suggested we take a photo
under the HOB sign, he also signed some crap.  Afterwards we went upstairs to a mini party, but shortly after,
we were forced to leave since all the guards recognized us. Since no one could pick us up, we stayed around the
HOB which became this scary azn gang party.  Rosemary and I only had one sweater so we were forced to share
it, each of us getting one sleeve.  We were trying to get into the azn party and I heard a gunshot and I ran away.
It was funny.

El Rey: Andrew WK 5/7/04

By RoseMary Rattray
It’s been months since our last encounter with Andrew W.K., and we were more excited then ever. At this
adventure we welcomed new adventur’ees and not so great rock fans Samir and Asha. It was Asha’s birthday,
and what’s better than giving her the christening of an experience at an Andrew WK show, especially when
she’s an avid hip hop listener (heh). We of course arrive 2 hours later than expected, but an hour early before
the band plays. We unfortunately missed Fireball Ministry but we stood around for an hour watching out for
famous people like the band Hoobastank and Jarod Leto. We ran into everyone except our best Sheep Mafia
buddy Frank. Unfortunately Gregg was sick, (get well soon), so he was replaced by the merch man. We ran
into friendly faces of Erik, Big Daddy, Ken, and our favorite security guard Tim. When the show started Asha
and Samir went wandering, but Lori and Roar stayed and enjoyed the pleasures of the pit. The show was
exceptional as always, a young vocalist stole the show when he joined Andrew during “She is Beautiful”. Lori
and RoseMary came out drenching wet after surviving Big Daddy’s water spraying during “I Get Wet” and
searched for Samir and Asha who were in the back because it was “too loud”. Well they had their own stories
to tell from witnessing an arrest. After the show we awkwardly walked around and finally ran into Frank and
once again Ken. We took photos and left the arena very satisfied. Asha would totally agree with me on having
the best time EVER! :-P

Yay! RoseMary, Asha, and Lori meet up with our good Sheep Mafia
buddy Big Daddy!

Samir, RoseMary, and Asha fortunately spot Erik Payne wandering
around the arena

Lori, Asha, and RoseMary luckily recognized Jarod Leto with his
moviestar aura from Requiem for a Dream and Panic Room

Kiss/Poison Rock the Nation Tour 2004

June 20th, 2004
By Lori Silberman

Okay, KISS and Poison live both turned out to be amazing. KISS really knows how to put on a show. From
Gene Simmons performing on the stage lighting structure really up high, to Paul Stanley flying out to the
middle of the audience,  the KISS performance was absolutely incredible. When they played God Gave
Rock n Roll to you II, it was like a spiritual experience and when Poison played their famous power ballad
Every Rose has Its thorn, it felt like daytime because there were so many lighters up.  So afterwards we
attempted to get backstage by standing at the entrance for ages…we failed. We did, however, end up getting
VIP passes and met the legendary Zakk Wylde of Ozzy Osbourne and Black Label Society at the VIP Party.
Then some very kind lady took pity on us and asked her friend to help us meet KISS. He gave RoseMary a
Working Pass (meaning she could get in anywhere) and took us to the backstage of the backstage: where
the tour buses are. As the after party had already ended, we had already missed Poison but we heard
rumors that KISS was still here. Some people said otherwise, but we trusted our instincts and knew better.
Then out comes the new guitarist of KISS, Thomas Thayer. We took a picture with him and then wait
around for awhile. We miss Paul Stanley by two seconds...seeing him but not being able to catch up with
him. Then Gene Simmons comes out. He was wearing a bathrobe and a towel over his head and was
soaking wet. So we went up to Grim Reaper look-a-like and asked to take a picture with him. Then he
answered, in the creepiest voice ever, “How old are you girls?”  RoseMary told him the truth: fifteen.
Immediately saying…nonono, he walked away, signed an autograph for another guy, and ducked into his
car, leaving us traumatized, completely paralyzed in shock. We…were…so…sad.
This is the first Sheep Mafia experience in which the show was better than the adventure.

This would be the first time Angela would see Jimmy Eat World live. She was very pip, as well as RoseMary
and Emmie. Well we finally get there, we wait hours until the concerts would start. While waiting we see the
strangest people, one especially strange was the Sobe Lizard man. The concerts finally start, during each
performance we quickly but carefully sneak down from the lawn to the very front rows of the orchestra
before Jimmy Eat World plays. We eventually get into the pit where RoseMary gets spat on by Riggs with pig
blood during Rob Zombie. So after that was over we sneak backstage for a few seconds and meet Riggs and
Blasko. Unfortunately the Riggs photo didnt turn out. So we get back into the front rows just in time to see
System Of A Down.

This is the first time Angela and RoseMary would see Andrew WK live. It was on May 31st 2002. Although
we didnt get to meet Andrew WK or the band, we did get to spy of Andrew on stage before the curtains rose,
and we also got the setlist and a guitar pic from Gregg, and touch sweaty Andrew when he jumped in the pit..
It was awesome.

We were meant to go to Drum Day LA at the House of Blues, although Guitar World lied and said it was over
at 10, but it was really over at 4. So we get there all pooped out, but then decide to go to Universal
Amphitheatre to see Acoustic Xmas. So we go and we sneak down the first floor (from second) and watch a
few bands, Disturbed, P.O.D, and for the first time performing Audioslave. We eventually get into the pit
which was awesome.

San Diego International Comic Convention

7/19/03
For the first time I went to the San Diego International Comic Convention, a event that happens every year.
With news that Rob Zombie and the actors from House of 1000 Corpses will be there I desperately wanted o
go. Unfortunately I could only go on Saturday, which I didnt really mind because atleast I went! Once we get
there, were late to see Shaudee and Elise's biggest reason to go, see the Lord of the Rings new trailor and
crap. According to Shaudee the world is against her in meeting her idol Elijah Wood. By the end of the event
it was very credible. But anyways after coming literally a second to late to see the trailor they go wait for
LOTR hobbits to sign autographs. The Shaudee and Elijah curse struck again, the line was cut... no one else
was allowed to wait for a signature. If we were 5 minutes faster her dream would have come true. Shaudees
man was like 20 ft away from her, within the 20 ft were 200 guards. Still with hope meeting the hobbits
Shaudee, Elise, and Kristen patiently wait hours to meet them when they leave the convention, like the rest
of the other 200 obsessed LOTR fans. I didnt care much about LOTR so I went to meet Sid Haig and Bill and
other HO1KC friends. Sid was super nice and let me help out a bit (although I never accomplish my task to
bring more Sid t-shirts) but for my effort he gave me a free photo and signature. Bill had a big crowd so I
didnt get to talk much, he was still nice though. So I go back to see the Shaudee crew, and I also pretend to be
obsessed with LOTR and take pictures of them while coming out. Guess whats back, yep the Shaudee and
Elijah curse! They take the side walk way from the entrance to avoid most of the fans/paparazzi although
they all stampeded over to take their last few photos. Even after driving 3 hours to San Diego, Shaudee and
Elise thought it was the greatest things just to see them (although not meet them) what good sports. So later
they went to buy LOTR merchandise and RoseMary looked around the comic section and luckily met John
Dolmayan from SOAD! What a coincedense! (ha.. ha) after that she goes back to visit the LOTR triplet and
buys a bunch of random stuff. It was an extremely fun day, we all had loads of fun.
