Comic Convention
On February 1st, the cast of House of 1000 Corpses was signing in Pasedena at a Comic Convention. (the cast included Sid
Haig, Bill Mosely, Sheri Moon, and Rob Zombie) Of course RoseMary decides to go, so she takes Lori, Shoddy (the ride)
and Mimi. Unfortunately Angela couldnt go becase of unfortunate reasons. So we go there and buy tickets and stare at the
funny people in costumes adn get tons of free stuff. Shoddy went running off everywhere becase there was a whole bunch
of Lord of the Rings stuff. It was a pretty cool place! The minute we walk in RoseMary immediately looks for Zombieslave
or Troutsmom (Rob Zombies assistant and manager) becase she has to give Rob Zombie his gift, and she has to give
Zombieslave her entry to the House of 1000 Corpses contest (which she won). While looking around RoseMary sees a man
that kinda looked like the drummer from System Of A Down, John Dolmayan (she kinda predicted he would be there bc in
interviews in magazines he says he loves comics), she freaks and tells Lori, and we decide to go ask. We begin by asking,
"are you...." his like yep. So we both have a heart attack and he signs a few stuff. While waiting for our picture to be taken
he buys these comics around 1000 each, his just saying yeah i want that one.. not that one, that one. wow... lots of money.
Anyways we finally get a picture with him, and we wander off again. We then hear that Robs signign on teh otehr side of the
convention center so we go there. There Rosemary meets Troutsmom, takes a picture, and gives her the tape. She insisted
that Rosemary should personally give the gift to him... Before Rob Zombie comes on stage, Rosemary spots some people
that she saw in a photo with Rob Zombie before, and yep it was them a couple friends of his. So then Rob Zombie comes on
stage, talks about the movie and allows people to ask questions. Since Rosemary was too afraid to ask why he cut his hair
(his hair was up to his shoulders) she forces Shoddy too. haha so then Shoddy asks, and he answers "i cut my hair bc it was
driving me insane, i also looked like a damn hobo" so we all crack up laughing haha. So finally the time came, we got to
meet the man. We meet Zombieslave who has always been so helpful to Rosemary and she says thanks for the video and
stupid Rosemary didnt take a picture with her. But she took one of us, i dont know where that went. Anyways, i had a whole
bunch of photos i had planned for them to sign, and a few free posters we got there. Bill Mosely looked really funny, he
looked so normal. So RoseMarys says "You look so much more scarier in the movie" his like "haha no im just a normal guy
in real life" haha, he wrote on her poster "still scared?" anyways then we met Sig Haig and he was super cool too, and Sheri
she was really nice! and finally, the man himself, Rob Zombie. She gives him his gift which was a little sculpture of a black
pug which he said "thats so funny, bc Dracula (his dog) is exactly like it, its abnormally small and his tongue always sticks
out" just like the present. So that was really awesome, bc RoseMary was so afraid that it was just any otehr gift... So afetr
that she talks to Zombieslave and Troutsmom alot, they were sooo awesome and nice. And we all wander back to John buy
a whooole bunch of comics and see Blasko! the bass guitarist from Rob Zombie. Unfortunately he didnt remember
RoseMary from a week ago at NAMM... o well! John signed RoseMarys Sheep Mafia ID which he thought was SOO cool! so
we get a picture signed and a whole bunch of Johns comics and wait in line to meet Rob Zombie, once again. It was
awesoem bc RoseMarys two favorite bands were hanging out together (blasko and john). So we meet Rob again, it was so
awesome, and leave since it was nearly closing, and leave with our hands full of signed stuff and free posters..
