this is the story of me, my sister, maryanne, and maryannes friend sonia, and lamb chop-my friend, going to the palace concert on
11/10!!!!
The AWK Day
Everything started going horrible, everything that we thought could happen was happening. we were late for the concert, and the
traffic was horrible, so sadly we pretended we were there watching them live by putting awk music really loud. we made t shirts for
the band that rosemary thought was lame (especially angelas). so we got to the palace finally, an hour late, and we got our
"backstage pass" and everything started getting better! andrew wk wasnt going to start till 9. and two other no name bands played
before us. the tour buses were right infront of the concert, (flogging molly, and awks). so we try and find backsatge which was
impossible bc we needed wrist bands and we didnt have them bc the lady said we were on the list but we dont get them blablabla it
was horrible. but we got backstage and i had to find erik really quickly, and amazingly out of everyone isee him. so the guard is
follwing me through this i tell him whats happening, and he tells me something i have no idea what he said (bc we were basically on
the corner of the stage) but i pretended i did. so then his like ill talk to u after the show. so were like cool so my sister, sonia, and
angela, and rosemary all watch teh show. it was great, awk was dong weird new moves and jimmy was running around in circles, it
was awesome. rosemary went inside to the front more, whiel the rest of us stayed to the side. luckily angela was onteh side nearthe
stairs and at tthe end awk let as many people on stage and angela got on! it was awesome! she was jumping around and just going
insane with the music. so after it was over we tried getti g back, bc as erik said we can get back after the show. so the guards STILL
dont let us back, but we knew where the tour buses were so we waited there. we met frank! who was going to the tour bus and we
talked to him for ages, and he helped us out the most, and angela was too afraid to give him her t shirt, in teh end she finally did. he
*pretended* it was cool. we met jimmy who was also really nice, he actually remembered us from ozzfest from this picture he took
with us. (thanks to angelas weird face she made) he gave us his email address! (so did frank, he also gave his number.
NUMBER)when we went back to frank who wa talking to maryanne and sonia they said his staying over! this was just. insane. so
then we try and meet the other guys so frank gives rosemary and angela wristbands (one was jimmys) and then on the way there we
see gregg! ahha he was happy about his t shirt. they all signed rosemarys t shirt (she dressed as awk so its plain white) so then we
try again to go inside but now our wristbands were TOO LOOSE. god how much worse could it get. so then we werent even allowed
back in not only backstage. while being stuck outside we see jeff tremain, dave england, and rick kosic from jackass! it was so cool.
unfortuantely no chris :( so we try and find frank whose no inside with my sister so i call her she comes and saves us. so now were
inside and we were talking to frank (as always bc his so cool and actually wanted to talk to us) and we mentioned us wanting to go
to ozzys house and franks like well lets go! se if sharon or kelly come out. so we try and get there, but we couldnt find his house :(
but it was so awesome we still cant believe frank FRANK sat in our car. we stayed in tehre for like 40 mins. ken also came too, and
we listene to toxicity which he liked haha. we had six people in the car, we were all squished together in the back with two big and
famous guys haha it was awesome! we stopped at jack in the box, and i just got a large coke and frank got a hamburger with nothing
but cheese. (rosemary got to have a bite on FRANKS burger) and he drank some of her coke too. wow it was so cool. rosemary was
sharing food with a rockstar. after we listened to slayer which ken especially liked. angela rosemary ken adn frank were crashing it
all they way back to the palace hahaha anyways when we got back we waited a while bc andrew was signing. everyone was quiet, it
was so weird. rosemary and angela were just freaking out, so then we finally got to him! (by cutting infront of so many ppl) and we
gave him his t shirt (on stage his t shirts ripped when he went into the pit.) so he was really happy about that and we told him about
us following him this summer! and so he wrote on rosemarys t shirt (photo below) and then erik came! this time we got to talk talk
to him. he was nice as always, the whole band was nice . (except dt he was so scary and mean, but his part of awk so his still cool) so
then we finally had to leave, and no frank didnt stay with us bc he had to get a ride to san francisco bc thats where they were playing
next, and maryanne couldnt drive that far :( if only angela or rosemary could drive. anyways so after that we left, exhausted and sad
bc it was all over, there was nothing to look forward too anymore but we had a great time! thankyou awk and everyone who made
this possible
