Day 1

After much trouble bothering our beloved Jed, our benefactor for tickets and passes, we arrived to my third annual Acoustic Christmas. Unlike before, this time I had backstage passes to one of the most exclusive events of the year. Arriving to the event, we immediately went backstage, for once without problems. The first people we spot are Adam Corolla and Jimmy Kimmel from the Man Show. We also run into Sheep Mafia buddy John Dolmayan, and incredible singer Serj Tankian, both of System Of A Down. I wasn’t particularly looking forward to any of the bands beside the eccentric Franz Ferdinand, who Dil was also excited for. Angela and Dil were looking forward to Jimmy Eat World, so while mingling backstage I pulled Tom, from J.E.W, out to meet the two. We spent the majority of the night sitting and awkwardly mingling backstage with the musicians and eating. We ran into many other musicians as show in the photos, but the most exciting part of the night had to be Franz Ferdinand live, and meeting the boys with their funny accents.

Day 2

The day 2 line-up for acoustic was incredible--social d, greenday, and even VELVET REVOLVER---I was so excited to go! I became even more psyched when I found out RoseMary had scored backstage-dressing room access- backstage passes from our beloved Jed the Fish. The entire night was a dream-come-true--seeing my idols from Velvet Revolver, getting to hear their divine music emanating off their guitars, and finally being able to see GreenDay in concert! We were lucky enough to be able to run past the angry guards into the pit for GreenDay--it was incredible. We also met the god himself--Adam Corolla. Un-freakin'-believable.
